COPPER GUTTERING

We pride ourselves not only in the durability of the product, but the beauty of the design.

Strength:
Gutter and downspout: 20.44 ounce (0.7mm) copper. 23.36 ounce (0.8mm) copper also available as a special order item. Copper gutter hangers: bar stock 3/16" thick x 1-1/8" wide.

Colors:
Copper will always turn different shade and colors because copper is exposed to the oxygen in the atmosphere. Typically, in a normal environment, copper will turn from a shiny new penny look to shades of brown, then eventually dark brown within the first year.  Over the next 30-75 years, copper will turn a streaky green, then to a darker grennish color, and eventually to a blue-green color. We provide products to control the appearance of the copper.  Copper Shield protects the original finish and prevents brown color.  It must be re-applied every 10-12 years. Patina products are also available to turn the gutter system to a green or blue-green color.

Ease of Installation:
With perfect fitting pieces, it is the easiest installed half round gutter system.

Durability:
A 20-ounce copper gutter system will generally last for a century or longer, depending on the environment and roofing material.

ACCESSORIES

Cupolas:
Cuplas come in standard sizes. We offer a standard line, or we can offer custom fabrication of any cupola.  The base of the cupola will be custom made to fit the roof pitch.

Finials:
Finials come in standards sizes or we can fabricate your custom finial by request.

Dormers:
We have several standard styles of dormer vents to choose from or we can fabricate your custom dormer vent by request.

Flashings:
Drip-edges and flashings keep water from penetrating the intersections and terminations of roofing systems.
